Secret Tips for Effective Weight Loss and Fitness Workout

For years I have had a weight problem.  Trying everything that caught my attention to lose weight. I had success with Weight Watchers to the tune of 67 pounds lost, but as so many do, I gained it all back.  With TOPS there was also some weight loss, but again it came back, and then some.  Every so often I would gather my courage to try again.  Still no deal.  After 12 years of gaining and losing, and each time finding the pounds easier to gain and harder to lose, the yoyo effect finally caught up with me.

At 298 lbs, with my feet in great pain, I ended up on an electric cart.  I could no longer support my weight and could not shop or go anywhere that required walking any distance.  This was the lowest point of my life. I could not live this way any longer. In my desperation I even watched Oprah when topics like stomach stapling were discussed.  I remember thinking that was pretty stupid since anyone could shrink their stomach if they really wanted to.  I needed a program I could stick to, while at the same time not depriving myself of the foods I liked to eat.  I know this sounds unrealistic, but that shows where my head was at. I wanted my cake and eat it, too. After thinking it over I decided to try and shrink my stomach on my own and go from there.

After a week of eating next to nothing I decided I had to find another way. Starvation was not where I had intended to go.  So I began eating what I wanted, but only in ½ cup portions every two hours.  This worked very well since that hungry feeling went away and I could eat anything. After 3 weeks of losing about 2-3 pounds a week, I was willing to do that indefinitely. It’s been 2 years now and I have lost 127 pounds!

After losing about 80 pounds I found the weight loss had begun to slow down.  I was still dedicated but then I could actually see some benefits.  Like a whole new wardrobe that I looked great in. And new found self-confidence. At this point I adjusted my plan by eating three meals a day. With breakfast as the largest meal, followed by a small lunch and then just snacking in the evening on anything but fatty foods. By doing this I held my weight for 6 months. I stopped trying to lose weight steadily and changed to losing 20 lbs each spring.  I could not exercise because of my feet and knees, but I was able to begin a walking routine of 2 miles a day, 5 days a week which has continued to this day.

Understand that only true dedication to losing weight will work and  I had to make a life changing decision to become that dedicated. But losing the weight was not enough. I needed a system that would help me keep the weight off permanently and give me more energy. That’s when I found the Five Tibetan Rites.  Skeptical and unsure if this would work, I gathered my courage, had a talk with myself and began the program that would change my life.

Although this may not work for everyone it has changed my life. I have more energy than ever and have kept the weight off. And my knees and feet don’t hurt anymore! The most important thing to remember when it comes to losing weight is that you really have to become dedicated and want to. The most important thing to help you keep the weight off is to follow a program like the Five Tibetan Rites.   If you follow these tips you can’t lose. Or maybe you can, if you know what I mean.
